Allergan Natrelle 410 Shaped Breast Implants

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration recently approved (February 2013) the use of the Allergan Natrelle 410 shaped gel breast implants, a new anatomically shaped silicone-gel product designed to increase breast size and improve breast augmentations. Our office will be offering this new product to our breast augmentation patients. Known as the “gummy bear” breast implants, this new option has a unique design based on cross-linkage that results in a silicone gel that’s firmer and better looking than other silicone-based products.
The Allergan Natrelle 410 shaped gel breast implants give patients the opportunity to get more supple and realistic looking silicone breast implants. A recent study published by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons suggested that 91 percent of breast augmentation customers report an increase in self-esteem. The best candidates for the new implants are women who are done with breastfeeding and have minimal sagging. For this particular procedure, patients must be at least 22 years old.
